I love this idea of reconstruction. I’ve self so similar since entering motherhood. I want to know what I believe and why, especially if I’m going to share that faith with my babies. Thanks for sharing your story Grace! 💕
Thanks for sharing your story! I enjoyed reading it and those verses from Jeremiah 17 are ones I've been thinking about a lot over the last few days. Visiting from FMF #13.

I didn’t know you were an MK! 💗 Really enjoyed this, and I’m interested to see more as you learn about this.
Glad you liked it!

What have you learned from your childhood?
The sonnet below would have been me a few years ago, before God hammered the round peg of faith into my square head.
The desert's really good for me
(give a moment, do not scoff)
for it's there that I can see
trouble coming from a long way off
and thus prepare pain of my own
that wind's sower reaps the storm,
but it's bad down to the bone
that violence must be the norm,
and I long (a bit) for leafy places,
where flying grit ain't in my beard;
is it too late to seek the graces
promised when the Christ appeared,
or am I days or years too late,
and set upon my dusty fate?
Thanks for sharing!
